Inclusive Fitness for Every Body

Hi, I'm Alya! (she/her)

I believe that movement is healing. As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, I will give you tools to add intentional movement into your life in ways that are sustainable, fun, and will make you feel strong and connected in your body. 

 

As a trainer, my focus is to help you:

- find a healthy, joyful relationship with movement

- build strength, resilience, and confidence inside and outside the gym

- set and meet personal goals that matter to you

- reframe exercise and nutrition as ways to connect with and take care of your body

- practice listening to your internal body cues and prioritizing rest and recovery

Fitness has allowed me to feel capable and strong, to work through emotions, to do fun things like travel and rock climb, to manage pain and injuries, and to learn how to honor my physical and mental capacity. I want to help you realize these benefits and even more, while providing a safe space away from toxic diet and weight loss culture.

 

Exercise doesn't have to be suffering! We will explore different movement types like resistance training, HIIT, weight lifting, mobility, cardio, and flexibility, and each session will be tailored to you and your needs.
